● Controls the oil pump, safety valve and accumulator system to regulate governor operating pressure.
● Controls oil flow to governor cylinder assembly by means of centrifugal fly-ball head and pilot valve assembly.
● Air, oil, or water high/low pressure shutoffs are available to protect the engine.
● Available energized or de-energized solenoid shutoffs.
● For fast starting, a booster servomotor is provided to provide instant governor oil pressure and conserve engine starting air.
● Governors with preloaded buffer springs are available for gas engines driving reciprocating pumps and certain other engines.
● A variety of base and power cylinder assemblies are available to meet engine or turbine manufacturer's specifications.
● The power servo can be mounted integral with the governor with the terminal shaft at the 3, 6, 9 or 12 o'clock position. Remote mounting of the power servo is also possible, but the rotary power servo can only be mounted vertically.
